- Kregg wrote the 2009 walk-up theme song for Anaheim
Angels, Torii Hunter.
- Kregg and Scottie performed with the legendary Wayne Newton in
March of 2008. Danke

- Kregg was filmed by MTV at his recording studio
producing and co-writing for the
realty show, MTV Made. The episode aired in February
2008.
- The Swingtips
original song, "Santa Swings", written by Kregg
Barentine, is featured in the
international theatrical release, A Perfect Holiday,
starring Queen Latifah, which was released again
to DVD in the Fall of 2008.
- The Swingtips, "Sam The Clam" was named Top Winner in
both the 2008 International Songwriting Competition and 2008
Great American Songwriting Contest.
- The Swingtips are back in the studio writing and getting ready for their next CD. More

Scott Yandell - Top Brass
"Everybody wants to be a
cat" -- like Scott Yandell. Scott is the Swingtips'
trumpeteer and is featured on all four Swingtips CD's
playing and singing backup. Scott has played with such
greats as Ray Charles, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, the
Temptations, the Four Tops, Dionne Warwick, Ernie Watts,
Jerry Lewis, Tex Beneke Orchestra, Harry James
Orchestra, Benny Goodman, Jack Jones, Peabo Bryson,
James Ingram, Burt Bacharach, and others. Scott is also
a professional recording engineer and runs his own
remote recording business. When not performing,
recording or teaching, Scott can be found lounging
around the pool and enjoying life in the Arizona sun
with his family and band mates who like to mooch.
